Help guys... While in reverse today, my center dash display console "PRND" lit up all red!
... Put it in drive and it felt like it started off in 2nd or 3rd gear. Stopped the car and it reset.Ever happen to anyone?

Mine did the same, pulled codes said something about improbable response
or something like that (don't remember exactly) under the transmission settings. Took it in to dealership (still under warranty) and they said a switch was bad and they had to order a circuit card for the tranny (not sure how a switch requires a circuit card to be replaced). Mine still seemed to work ok in drive but would not shift into tiptronic mode with the stick or the paddles. Hope this helps.

Re: thanks for the info... Car is fine today. I called the dealer and he said
the problem has to be constant for them to pull the code. I was on ice at the time it happened so maybe that was the issue.

Yeah, it should store the code. My problem went away and came back...
and went away. Finally I took it in for the 45K service and had them check it. That was when they found the bad switch/circ. card. The problem wasn't there when I took it in but they could still read the code.
