Default I had the same issue with my RNS-E. Dealer just needs to get the serial number.

Then they can look up the PIN. Took a little over an hour because the RNS-E was in "safe" mode.

In my case, the PIN wasn't even close to what was written on the card.

Default It Was...

I had to enter 1811 twice and it worked. Weird but my Service guy said he had heard of it before.

Default Nope. Still learning how to even use it but..

If you have any other helpful hints let me know? This thing was the best recomendation to do EVER Def a first mod for any new buyers!

I mounted the GPS in my glove compartment instead of under the speedo and I seem to be getting 4-8 Sats all the time so I might leave it there. It's a little slow at start-up to catch up when I start moving, is that common?

Other than that I am still learning all that I can!

Default Ohh... Thanks! I might try the glove box.

I put mine behind the cluster. The cluster is a PITA to get back on correctly, at least in my car. The two bolts at the bottom are really recessed deeply and I had trouble lining them up to the speed nuts. Not much room to work with. Regardless, I get 2-4 sats and sometimes 0. Annoying. I'll try the glovebox.

Default Question...

When you start in the morning, it can take the GPS sometime to catch up with me, are you haveing a similar problem? I even took the anntenna out and was getting 8 Sats but it still didn't catch up. Anyway to fix that?
