Hmmm...Whining sound at cold start...not the PS fluid...

During a cold start, I hear a loud whining sound, did a STFA and found the thoughts on PS fluid, checked mine, at max...so tht's not it...usually hist between 1500-2500 rpm, and goes away when warm...any ideas?

what was it again? Secondary air pump...? something like that?

My first S4 did that, but the current one doesnt

happened to me this afternoon as well after car sat all night. goes away once car is warm.

I've experienced the same thing on a few ocasions since the weather has turner colder.

Had my power steering fluid topped off 2 wks prior. First heard it on start up in my garage. Other time going home after work. Noise disappered after about 2 mins of driving . Have not heard it since. Not too worried, if it is significant,it is covered under waranty.
