I was on the NJ parkway when a guy in a crown vic pulls up next to me. He has a woman in the car so i figure it is just a regular guy. He pulls up next to me then takes off so i get behind him and follow. He goes into the right lane and i pass him and also pull into the right lane. Next thing i know he flies past me. So i figure i better show him what an s4 is made of. I go past him up to about 120 then slow back down. When he pulls up next to me he yells on his lowd speaker,"Yes it is a police car. Now slow down."

Next time be kind enough to point that out. Yeah, he could write you the tickets, but honestly, you could easily cost him his job for those stunts he pulled. Furthermore, his behavior exacerbated the situation by leading you to believe your safety was in danger. If he was truly interested in public safety, he could have called your plate number in, and let a marked car with an on-duty police officer handle the situation. He knows all this...he just chose to intimidate you (on the road, and on the side of the road). Sounds like he needed a few firm reminders.

I think he was just pissed that you schooled his little honda.
There's no way he could have ticketed you.. and secondly, I'd have gotten his badge number and talked to the chief. Not only was he breaking the law as well and egging you on, but he totally mis-used his authority.. Mr. Chief would NOT be happy about that.
Pisses me off.. since I live in MN too.
