Anyone who has purchased and installed this exhaust have any comments. Find stock a little to quite. But am not looking for American muscle sound. How loud is this exhaust and does it make the car sound deeper and better growl (Hope so). Also any noticeable feel in power gain? And any hint of resinating sound in cabin. Had that with the exhaust I had on old S4 and did not like. Am itching to buy an exhaust..but maybe should wait to see what else comes out. So thats why I need help? Thanks.

that you do. After 2500 miles, my car has a really nice exhaust note that I wouldn't mind hearing just a little more of, but I do wonder about when this would become a full time cabin noise intrusion I would not welcome over the course of a long drive (i.e. 5+ hours behind the wheel).
So far what I am hearing is totally acceptable, but I fear that much more could potentially be a problem.
I want a ride in a car that has this mod in place.....

The people who have it. Seem to love it. I am deffinatly going to do it before next spring, the full kit that is. I dont think anyone has posted clips of the full kit (DP's, Sport Cats, Cat Back etc...) which I think will sound better then just the cat back exaust kit.

Well I only get audio and I know the reason (let's not get into that). I like how the stock exhaust sounds better. The whooshing sound of the Milltek is nasty and I wish the custom exhaust would better enhance the sound that the stock exhaust makes.
To make it easier:
Vrooom = stock
Whooosh= Milltek

the main reason to do one, on something like a B5 S4, is the fitment. Unusually shaped mufflers and pipes in unusual places.
But on these cars, like on my A6, this is a straight shot from the cats on back. It is easier to do a custom exhaust on these thinsg than a chevy pickup.
I would suggest Magnaflow (see link in my sig), and either keeping the stock resonator, or upgrading the resonators to a higher flow one.
For betwen $400-$500, you could have a custom one done at a high quality muffler shop, with any size piping you want in stainless steel.
BTW - I chose 4" dual wall tips for mine, and the look great!
