Default How awesome are these cars in the rain....

I can not tell any huge difference in performance in dry compare to wet. Except maybe having to go 5 mph slower into a twisty.

The only problem I have with driving in the rain is that the wipers can not keep up with how fast the car is driving in the rain

Default Coming from Acura's the one thing that is dissapointing with Audi is the wipers....

Several aspects of them....

1.) The fastest setting is slllloooooowwww in comparison.
2.) If you want to quick wipe you are turning the wipers off
3.) If you wash you are turning the rear wiper (Avant) off

But the worst of all, there are no auto wipers.

Default If that is the worst thing about switching form an Acura to a S4..

I'd do it anyday.

Default I will never get rain sensing wipers again for 2 reasons...

1. I had to have my windshield replaced due to crack and having the rain sensing feature made the replacement about 2x as much as it would have been without this feature
2. They never worked very well. I had them on my 2002 330Ci and they did not seem sensitive enough. (and before you say it... yes I kept my windshield and the sensor area very clean).
A neat option, but more of a PITA than it is worth IMO.

They get glacier slow above 120 mph. My Golf's are much more effective at triple digit speeds.

Default They worked really really well on the MDX and the sensitivity was adjustable. Windshield

was the same as non rain sensing.

Default Are you sure? Where the rear view mirror attaches to the windshield ...

is where the sensor usually is. Which means you have to be more careful removing and re-attaching the mirror. I am speaking from experience here.

Default If you are going over 140 the air pressure should keep the rain off your window..

In fact if you are on the highway going over 135-140mph you can leave your roof open and no rain will come in..

(This worked in the S4 sedan.. don't think it will work as well in my cab
