How do you remove the front bumper cover where the license plate goes

Once its removed, how do you mount a european plate? Is a special bracket required? My dealer was not very helpfull when I asked them.

Use a wide blade screwdriver and be careful. Also see Random and Grussgot's excellent
writeups. I've had mine off 3 times for fixit tix now and the last time I busted one of the tabs. I suppose its time to go Grussgott's route with magnets.
