Default How hard to put the 3 spoke steering wheel in?

I want to get the 3 spoke sport steering wheel in my car instead of my 4 spoke multifunction wheel. How difficult is it to do? Is is a simple swap or more involved?

If its an easy swap, if anyone in the philadelphia, pa area wants to trade their black 3 spoke S4 steering wheel for my black 4 spoke multifunction wheel please respond to this post or email me. thanks

thats what im trying to figure out. If its a simple swap and then a flash of the cars system then I definitely want to do it. Is yours from a B6? i dont like the new b7 steering wheel

Default Check out Boston Driver.....

on the A6 board. A little more involved that you may suspect.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/547564.phtml">BD's 3 spoke wheel install</a></li></ul>

Default you also need tro swap the cancelling ring. The steering/Yaw sensor is in the cancelling ring..

Keep in mind, you might have to recode the steering/yaw sensor. Make sure you write down the codes before you do the swap.

Default that link is a little more involved b/c its a tiptronic

good link, but that one was complicated b/c he had to connect the tip buttons on the wheel to work with his tiptronic

Default I'm considering this as well...

...please keep us posted as to how it goes. If it's not too involved, I would be interested in selling a 4-spoke (or trading it with a brand new 3-spoke in the So Cal area).
