How long would you wait to wax or polish a freshly painted bumper?

How long would you wait to wax or polish a freshly painted bumper?
It would certainly make it easier to remove the dead bugs from the front bumper if it were polished. I don't use wax. I use Lquid Glass polish.

my bodyshop told me to wait 3 months before waxing, otherwise he could not warranty the paint work
told me some gases needed to get out, and putting a Bra or waxing before 3 months would dull the color.
Not sure if that's true, but they at least knew about recalibrating the Xenon leveling with their Vag before releasing the car to me ;-)
