How many hours to intstall coilovers? Is an allignment nessasary?

Default YES...or..if you have unlimited funds for new tires...NO
Any time you change the geometry of the suspension by putting in non OEM stuff..you need to do an alignment.

Default BTW you can get 1 FREE alignment at your Audi dealer.
I had 4 new tires put on my car and took it in for alignment with another minor problem. Quoted me $100 to do alignment. When I got the bill it was N/C.
