Default its the easy way out on suspension. Spending over a dime on COs to me, wasnt ...

worth it. I dont take my car to the track or care if its in the "weeds". Sure the CO will ride a bit better and last a WHOLE hell of a lot longer but who is keeping this car longer than 3-4 years? Not me.... I'd like co's but just doesnt make sense, financially. Esp when i just opened my damn gas bill and it was nearly the price of CO's. As far as shocks wearing out, not gonna happen until you get about 50k miles on them and again, are you gonna have this car that long? I just took a trip to Hot Spring VA with 2 passengers and a full trunk and it rode pretty damn well. It seems to ride better with weight, maybe the springs are designed on the stiff side. If I had to do again, I would of done shocks since its completely removed anyways.

Default cant handle??? um, i've got them on my car....

and no leaks. Have about 8k miles on them, 40/50k is a different story. If ya dont like em, stick with "i just dont like em". That make a lil more sense : ) Nice pic btw

Default What I don't like is the bouncy-bouncy. Matched parts just work together better, imho. The funny

thing is -- on my B4 Sport quattro the sport springs worked just fine, but on my B5 S4, they were just horrible.

Thanks for the comment on the pic.

Default i bet it would work better with euro shocks (oem) since its sits lower... interesting

you know, when i have a few people in the car it seems to ride better. They are on the stiff side but i like the added aggressiveness to the handling. Its liveable...

Default oow repairs, etc. Its not that the s will be junk after 50k, I just dont ....

keep cars that long. I own 3 cars, LR3/Xb and the S. All are 05' or newer, at around 40-50k i will sell each one. I believe in selling cars while they are in relatively good shape and decent mileage. Plus, i hate paying for car repairs. Now of course, if i do the SC then it changes everything. I dont know if i could let go of it then : )
