Of course. No fun driving around on straight 91 all the time :P
I usually put a mix in if I was planning on doing anything more than a boring commute. (I was Stage 2+ also)

Woulda been interesting to see how I would've done against his Stage 2 car also.

Actually, I had APR on my stage 2 B5 and I loved it. Especially v5. That think would hum!
But make no bones about it, a heavily modified B5 with racegas will burn a stock B6 badly. Just the way the cookie crumbles.
But wait, what's that smoke at the end of the run??? Oh ****, get the CC ready.... ;-)

What's this??? What's this??? All this bragging I'm hearing about Stage 2 is BS?
When I ran against master blaster's stage 2, I saw with my own eyes what we're capable of top end.
Now I figure with a solid torque/awd launch, the b5 stage 2 should take us...but what you're saying says that I'm straight up even with him (given .1 for 100lbs less on the sedan)

It really depends on how much weight you've got and what kind of gas and map he's running.
See, if he's running 91, then the best he can get is to run the 91 map (except for racegas) which for obvious reasons has less power then the 93 map. Since Cali gets 91, then in fact you are running 91. But you should still have more horsepower in the engine then he does torque if you drive it right. If you look at our tanks, they all say 91 octane on the gas lid. I'm not entirely sure that a huge gain is received with 93 vs 91 octane on our specific engines. Therefore, you have a great chance of outrunning him...
A B5 is potentially a much faster car then our B6's, but that's given the ideal situation of 100+ racegas, a map to go with it, an an exhaust and intake are well worth the run for a 13.2X run, something we cannot achieve yet.
Of course, I would not be advicing to trying this on the street. ;-)

Feel free to put 100oct in the B6 too, if you think that will help. :P
Anyways, go look at the link below!!! There's a stage 2+ on pump gas that ran 13/05 (and that was a while ago). Look at the trap speeds too, as that's a good indicator of hp.
