I must say that I am quite unhappy with this place. In my opinion they ruined my rims to a point that they will have to take them back and refinish them again.
The face of them look fine. The color I picked out was almost identical to our outside door mirrors.
But they did quite a few things I specifically made the lady at the front desk write on the invoice that I wanted done.
The first was to remove the hubcentric rings from the BEFORE powder coating. They powder coated right over them and they now won't sit flush on the hub very well. And if I ever go to sell them I can't easily remove them. I can see where they tried to remove them and completely bent the **** out of one of them. It was so bad that the rim wouldn't even go on the car. And as they were trying to remove the hubcentric ring they cracked the back of the rim. There is now a chunk of wheel missing from the back where it mounts on the hub.
The next thing was to leave the old bald tires off once removed. They put them on and balanced them and if you had seen these tires you would know why I didn't want them back. This didn't bother me as much as the finished result but it definitely added to the dissappointment.
I've included some pictures for your observations. Now I don't think I'm being nit picky at all. And when I called and spoke to the manager and told him about the back lips being ruined. He said that no one would see it and asked me if I would loose sleep over it knowing that it was like that. I said actually I would I want them to be fixed right and this is not exceptable.
At that time I spoke to him I told him I was calling American Express and disputing the charge. He said go ahead and he'll end up getting the money anyway.
I let it rest for an hour or so and called him back told him to come pick these up on Monday and I "EXPECT" them to look brand new when I get them back and I wasn't expecting anything less from them.
I can't believe they let these out of their shop like this, what where they thinking. I've seen their work before because I went there and saw some finished wheels.
My BBS rims didn't one nick or scratch on the back side and now they look horrindus.

Give them one chance to fix it, but after that I would dispute the charge...
After that name and shame on the local forums...

They completely destroyed your rims man, you should get a brand new set on them, seriously that is total BS. They would have looked sick if it turned out right...keep up posted man.

on the inside of the wheels, but the number they did on yours is ridiculous. That color is awesome by the way. Keep us posted.

They would be, not should be, but, would be buying me a new rim as well as fixing every flaw. Unfortunately, you may not have detailed pics of every part of your rims before they got their hands on them. If they choose not to do right by you and you fail using all the measures Sia mentioned below, I'd spend a couple days posting on every possible car related forum in the U.S.

so the back will continue to peel as it has not adhered properly. Wow, my local did better than this with aluminum wheels I powder coated for snows. That one wheel is definitely NOT usable. But why did you even give them the wheels with the hubcentric rings still in? They don't need them to balance the wheels.

I told them to remove the rings prior to powder coating. I even called them back 2 more times to MAKE SURE they removed the rings prior to P/C.
They even noted it on the invoice to remove them. You can see where they tried and like I said they bent one so badly the cracked the inside hub area. I haven't brought that to their attention yet because I didn't notice it until I tried to mount them and that one wouldn't even go on the hub.
