I have had the strat hyperflow for little over a week now. All of a sudden today, after I dinner driving back home, my check engine light went on. In a panic mode, I drove back home under 25mph the rest of the way.

I had the check engine light on before because of the intake manifold problem.

Now the larger problem is that I am in Boston, MA since I am away from school. My original air intake is back home in NJ and say that I did have the original intake, I would have no idea how to put it back on.

So any advice would be greatly appreciated, how dangerous is it for me to drive the car with this check engine light on, anything I can do to quickly fix it, please help!!!

Have someone ovenight the original intake to you ASAP. I believe you can get installation help from Pete at Stratosphere to reinstall the stock intake IF NECASSARY. The CEL may be due to the intake but maybe not. I don't know if the CEL will go away with the stock intake in place. I believe others on the forum will be able to give you the proper advice. could be anything from a gas cap being loose, bad gas, to a serious problem. Seeing the code would help.
