I am pretty sure about getting the IS 350, but not totally sure. I drove the IS yesterday and it was fun. It felt very fast, but in a soft way unlike the S4. My S4 feels faster, but not a whole lot faster, and my S4 kills it in a turn. I need some info from you guys, especially the ones who have driven the new IS.
The things I think are better on the IS are:
-Mark Levinson Stereo
-Navigation (my s4 doesnt have one)
-gas mileage (dont really care to much but it is still is better)
-Newer Car
-Interior is more luxurious to me.
-Reliablility (my s4 has seen its share of the audi dealership)
The bad things about the IS:
-No manual transmission
-No AWD (i dont need it here in vegas though)
Car is a little smaller.
Eventually I plan on fixing up the IS 350 with the usual exausht, intakes, coilovers, etc..
Can any of you guys jump in here and give me some advise.
TIA

I do love the S4 torque and mine has been reliable for the most part.
Even though Audi is known for nice interiors I actually like the IS interior better. The NAV is really nice too.
I kind of like having an Audi instead of a Lexus when I drive clients around. I think the Audi label is a little less in your face than Lexus or M-B.

I am really enjoying the S4. Put a few hundred miles yesterday in the pouring rain out near the Washington coast and it was just silky controlled power.

intake, custom exhaust, and striping 100 pounds out of the trunk. He also had time slips. Also there was dyno graphs dynoing only 7 hp less to the wheels than a stock E46 M3. Maybe it was not as slow as I though???

on the LExus-- Nav, Newer, more luxorious, reliable, and a better stereo... IMO, those are pretty bad reasons for wanting to get rid of your Audi, except the reliability issue..
If you audi is that unreliable that you would choose this car over it, maybe you should get rid of it and get a LExus.
