I sent an e-mail to Audi
I sent an e-mail to Audi complaining about the shark fin. In my message I indicated that I was going to purchase an S4 but will not do so now because of the hideous fin.
If enough potential buyers of the S4 who are displeased with the fin, send a note to Audi specifying their displeasure, I'm confident that Audi will respond. The satellite technology is first rate and if I intended to use the feature, I would not complain. But why should Audi compel all of its buyers to buy the fin when possibly only a small percentage will utilize its capabilities?
Audi like any business will respond to its customers. If you don't like it, complain.

I think most of us are useing its function.. No big deal can't see it when your driving

I just find it incredible that this would influence your decision.
Audi's have always been wonderfully engineered cars, that's why I've been driving them exclusively since 1984

The price may seem a little high
The shark fin may not be the prettiest thing in the world
Life is all about compromises and I'll gladly compromise the shark fin for the rest of an outstanding package. I just wish I had mine now instead of having to wait another 2 months.

my bet is that the fin will be eliminated in a model year revision
imo, the design is too inelegant to be left alone. I think (and hope) that Audi will find a way to integrate the shark-fin function into a less obtrusive form. The designers have to hate it.

Absolutely ridiculous to all of you, who choose to not buy a car of such caliber over a stupid.....
antenna, shame on you who are actually considering. I'm tired of coming on the forum everyday and hearing people whine and moan about the antenna on the rear of the car. Is it really that big of a deal that you completely ignore that this is the best car in it's class. Live with it, everything can't be perfect and if you want something enough you'll sacrifice here and there...you know in 3 months anyone someone will have an aftermarket antenna that looks better. As for me i'm not going to worry about such trivial matters...and please STOP cluttering our forum with these dumbass posts about a sharkfin antenna...It's not the nicest thing we've seen and we all know this I don't need 6 posts a day reminding me of this...
