And what tires? I'm thinking Pilot Sport PS2s although I like the look of Pilot Sports better.
And what are the recommended tire sizes?

19's will look awesome but you'll suffer with ride quality and your pocket will hurt from replacing tires every 15k or so... given that... the 19's will still look really sweet compared to the 18's, no real handling or performance gains though with 19's vs 18's if everything else is the same, width, weight and such..

When I had 17s on my 330Ci, I always thought ... I wish I had 18s
I have now had the S4 for 13 months and I have never once wished I had 19s. I think 18s are the perfect mix of performance without sacrificing too much comfort and appearance, but to each his own.

I have 18" B7RS4 Replicas and dont think 19" would do anything....
I chose to stick it with the stock sizes because from previous experience, when you change the wheel size and offset, the car might suffer suspension damages in the long run. Since I love my baby and do 99% city driving (i.e. uneven manholes, road cracks, etc), I chose to have a little more rubber. Also, it avoids curb rash if you F*** up on parking (hey, it happens). I had 19" CHS before my B7RS4 replicas, and looks wise, it DOES NOT change the car at all. A lot of folks say 19" look better, but it depends on the wheel design, how low your car is, etc. Some 19" wheels look smaller than 18" because of the spoke design, especially deep dish wheels. I live in Boston where the roads suck and the weather is unpredictable, so I'm happy with the 18"s with Pirelli PZero M+S all season. Ride is smooth, grippy, with no side effects. People that track the car seriously go DOWN, to 17", so there really is no need for 19's. If you want looks, go 20"s and roll like a true playa
