Would DP's with the OEM exhaust do this for me?
Or is it a waste?

Default Thanks I was wondering. It seemed as if there had to be some restriction/backflow...

in order to maintain your low end torque.

Default Question of curiosity....

Why would you like to gain 10-15 HP? I am not being rude here just curious. I can see if you were seeking something more substantial, but what motivates you to seek ~10HP? Just curious. Would you be able to feel a difference from 340 HP to 350 HP?

Default No I understand the question...just looking for "bolt on" power. I would...

love to get a 30-50hp gain that is really
substantial. But without cracking the block
open and adding internal mods (ie over bore,
pistons, cams, etc.) I can't see getting that
substantial gain. I'm one of those naysayers
that a chip will increase an N/A engine enough.

Default BTW I do think a chip ALONG with an exhaust can produce a 30 hp gain.

But..I don't wish to chip yet. I'll wait 4 yrs.

Default Thanks-- when it comes to modding I am clueless

I have never done or had any modifications done on any car of mine. Issues with manufacturers warranties and my complete ignorance on the topic has kept me from doing so.

Default That I agree with ... HP is over-rated...

I always wished my 330Ci had about 20 or so more ft/lbs of TQ. I think it had 214TQ. Just a little more power off the line would have been great. But just like anything else... when you get that you want more and more.
