Looking to help a friend with some data gathering and a possible offering for the B7 S4. So, what is the most desirable upgrade:

18X8.5
18X9

19X8.5
19X9
19X9.5 (will this fit?)

Offsets?

Thanks guys.

Default 19x8.5.....I prefer the wheels I have; Forged, Champion RG40's!

staggered offset, same size tires.

19lbs each.

Default just make sure you get some light tires as well..

otherwise the 19lb wheels doesn't have as much of an effect.

But those wheels are bomb!

Default Agreed with the 19 x 8.5...

but I'm not a huge fan of the stagger with AWD. Although the way Dr. Quattro has his looks good, just depends on the wheels and amount of offset. I went with a wider tire to change the look instead (245/35/R19).

Didn't you say you have a chart of tire weights? Might be worth looking at if you don't mind.

Ditto. Except I'm on Yokohama ADVAN Sport's. 235/35/19. (Actually wider than my 235/40 Dunlops)

Default sure thing, it's actually a spreadsheet...

It doesn't have different tire weights, you just input the weight of the wheels and the tires. The sheet will then add, subtract, and multiply, to tell you what kind of weight savings you are getting compared to stock.

I only used the PS2s in my Xcel sheet because those are the lightest I could find. Tirerack.com has the weight of the tire when you click on 'spec.' remember the tire weight is different for each tire size.

It's just plug and play from there. I'd be happy to email it to you. Just email me.
