Just drive one and you can tell where that $20,000 was spent right away.
It's just a muscle car. It cost them nothing to drop the engine in there so there was no development of it, it's still a truck engine. The interior is really chintzy everything is loose. It's heavy and super soft. The chassis is very uninspired. They are hardly even comparable. drove one and the 300c a few weeks back at a chrysler event.....
This was on orange coned course with professional race car drivers (including John Paul Jr.) and we pushed the cars really hard. I went in expecting very little, but came out surpised. The 300c was the clear winner between the two, better inside and out. The Hemi was impressive, as was the handling and rear wheel drive/traction control system. I have never been a chrysler fan at all, but I think some of the MB technology is making it's way down.
