I wasnt so keen about importing the RS4, until I saw those seats with two tones. Those are amazing seats, especially if you can get two tone with those amazing whtie seats that are on the sprint blue cab in geneva. OMG those are beautiful.

Default Re: enough about the RS4. what about the TT and R8?

Car dealers should run beta programs like software companies. Select a few hard core automobile lovers and let them "beta" the car for a month or so. Then take their reccomendations and put those into the cars. I think it could work.

if you have more than a 32" waist and weigh more than 150lbs, they won't be comfortable.

Default hmm....

have you sat in the seats? The current S4 seats feel a little big to me. I would like to adjust the side support. Its a great feature to have.

Default If you are going to spend the money to import a Euro car, import one that isn't available in the US

It would be pointless to import a car that is available here. You are willing spend almost $20,000 more for some seats and a steerinf wheel?

Plus, you will have a $90,000 car, that is availbale here for $70,000, but the kicker, you can't drive it legally.

Order the RS4 in a special color, and wait for those Euro Spec seats to be available online. Sooner or later, someone in Europe will get sick of them and put them on ebay.de .

The only RS4 I would pay to import would be the B5 RS4, for the reason that it is not available here, and there are only a handful actually federalized in the US.

But it is your money, just my .02

Default Read Feb-06 Car and Driver about vehicle importing

Aaron Robinson wrote up a nice editorial about this titled: "You can import anything except common sense."
