Information on the factory Bose speakers...
I first have to apologize to all here for dispensing a bit of incorrect information about our Bose speakers. I've always said that they are 4 ohm speakers, but they're not. They're 2 ohm. Either I was smoking crack (I only use the purple stuff) or I was given bad information from another source. Either way, I apologize and hope that no one was bitten by this erroneous info. But apparently many have installed aftermarket 4 ohm tweeters and still had good results.

lols! hey esfo.. i want to install audi nav + euro spec in my car and am ordering ice link plus for
my iPod. i also want to add a 12" or 2 10" subs, amp'd. would it be better to do this all at once? will it all work together? any comments or suggestions? thanks.

BOSE car stuff has been 2 ohm for a very long time.
And IIRC they are paralleled into the amp so they present a 1ohm load

It would be easier doing it all at once.
No need in tearing anything apart twice. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I'm gonna do something similar. I don't know if the new B7 DVD based nav+ will work in our cars but I'm definitely gonna be one of the first to try it.
A couple questions for you...
1. Where are you getting the nav+?
2. Did you do the tweeters?
