As a buisness owner and a some what accomplished customer service guru, stories like this make me laugh and cringe at the same time. This is a classic case of JD Audi saying F You, there is nothing you can do to us that matters, we will only F You.
I encourage you to show them different. This and other web sites like it are your best tool to make sure this dealership regrets the way they handled your situation. They probably will also think twice before acting in similar fashion.

As others have said, service departments and sales departments are usually 2 seperate operations within the same dealership, so fortuanately what applies to one may not apply to the other.

Eithier way, ditch that dealership. There is to much competition in that buisness to waste your time and energy with a lame-*** operation or manager.

any Audi dealer can be a problem at times because they all have periods of the hard sell due to pressure of various kinds. Also, service is usually overstressed and understaffed. The convenience people are flea bitten dregs, and finance depts are smug as all get out. After all, this is Audi : )
