Just got off the phone with American Wireless and Verizon (Audi Phone) is no longer available..(m)..
I asked if it will be available in the future and they said they have no idea. I then asked if Verizon might offer a new phone in the future, they said it is possible.

I just got my verizon phone from them 2 weeks ago.
I got my verizon phone a little under 2 weeks ago. It was on back order and I had to wait 2 weeks from when I ordered it. I don't know why you care, but I figured I had to point this out because I have one and you don't. Ha! I'll sell you mine for $2000.00. :P
The phone is nothing special though. If they are planning on coming out with a new one, I'd hold off. I wish they would make a bluetooth adapter that would work for a variety of phones.
p.s. just saw phish in Miami for NYE. Great shows.

The new ones coming out are to support GSM : Most likely the T720 from what I hear....
Dont quote me on that, but I heard from a reilable source they are planing on switching to the t720 since it uses the same software and cradle.

Hey...
Just spoke to AW and they said that an e-mail is circulating there saying that as of January no Audi phones will support Verizon, due to incompatibility with FCC regulations about 911 calling. They did say that the memo said a new Verizon Audi phone may be available in March.
They also said the current Audi cradle may not work with this new phone. Does anyone know if I can have a Verizon cradle installed after I have the car? I ask because I was told that the current cradle is a port installed option. I can't see why Audi wouldn't do this.
