My wifes car had similar damage..it was fixed..looked brand new
My wife has had 2 cars with similar damage..both bumpers were fixed and looked brand new. You shouldnt have any worries.

I called my agent and told him I was VERY dissatisfied. He is supposed
to look into it tomorrow and get back to me. BTW, my policy is coming up for renewal 5/22.

I pushed to have mine replaced...
Insurance company picked up the bumper, brought it to another body shop, came back with the final decision...bumper would only be refinished. Bastards! I paid the difference and had it replaced anyway.

Push for the new cover but, truth be told, you won't know the difference once they're done...
I'd say fight harder if it were a keeper but you're giving it back in a year and a half.

Then they should be the ones that are pushing for a new cover
My body shop fights those battles for me. They probably have a decent relationship with the adjusters because there has never been a problem where I had to get involved.

Exactly what I am doing. I will have the car 2 more years.
One of the first cars that I have leased or owned that I am not looking foreward to returning the car at lease end. BUT, the C6 Corvettes do look extremely atractive.
