I find it a little tinny, that 5" sub needs to be a little bigger. The saloon i had on loan with a standard system sounded better. The only gripe i have with my car at the moment.

good IMO. I think maybe to the average person it sounds decent, but if you have been exposed to decent audio equip., the bose is more hype than anything. Too overboosted in the wrong frequencies for me.

To most people Bose is seen as the best there is when it comes to sound. It just too bad that high end stereo equipment is so esoteric that when people see my system with cables as thick as your wrist and they ask if I thought about upgrading to a bose system. I have heard stories about people at lexus dealerships after they hear about the Mark Levinson Audio package they ask is there a Bose upgrade? Bose has the majority of the public absolutely brainwashed, I think audi should follow their own advice and not follow everyone else by letting bose stuff their crap in our cars. Audi should look at Linn I heard their 950 watt system in the new aston DB9 at the Auto show at it was unbelieveable.

Space, nothing else could fit the bill in a sound per speaker size fashion. I still contest nothing sounds better then the Genelec 5.1 in my studio
