K&N air filter for 2004 B6 S4
All,
I am a regular viewer and not often poster and I could use everyone's infinite wisdom. I have an '04 B6 S4 and was wanting to get a K&N air filter for it. On K&N's website, it says that they don't make one for an '04, but they do for '05 and onwards. I even wrote to them and they said that they "don't offer a product for my car". Is the airbox different for '04 compared to later years? I have seen plenty of '04s on here with them, how did you guys do them? I apologize if this is a repeat question. Thanks for any help you can ofer. -Brit78

K&N in stock airbox is better to save money down the line...and supposedly a little throatier
without losing the cold air intake of the stock system. If I were to go back to aug 26 2003...that's teh route I would have gone (albeit, the K&N drop in replacement wasn't around until 2005 iirc)
