Default Lane departure warning - vibrates steering wheel?

I wonder how this works - I would sure hate to have the wheel vibrating while I am driving very fast on the track or on a canyon road and the car thinks I am leaving my lane!

Default I'm sure you can turn it off on cars that have this feature.

And it definitely won't be a feature that will lessen the safety of your vehicle...it'll probably gently vibrate like a cellphone...not jerk left and right.

Default DBW steering, no direct connection between steering wheel and steering rack.

The programming could have the wheel do nearly anything without actually affecting the angle of the wheels.

DBW steering is not permitted yet. Assist and adjustment yes, but must have mechanical connection

Default vibrating seat would be quite exciting - I can see my wifes now

weaving in and out of traffic to get it to work!
