Leaking oil

Leaking oil
My 06 S4 just started leaking oil (pretty badly), and I wonder if maybe someone driving bottomed out and hit the oil sump. I am concerned if that is something that is covered under warranty (which I have a year left). Any ideas?

Clearly, if it was damaged hittig an object it is not covered under warranty. It is however unlikely it is the oil pan - there would have to be a lot more damage to the undercarriage before the pan is hit.
