Default Leg Room In Back

I've heard leg room in the back of a b6 is pretty scarce from a lot of people, if anyone has been in an A4 Cab, how does it compare?

Default 1" more in the S4...

that's the official measurement but you probably won't notice much real difference. I've sat in both and it just depends on how far back the front seat is set.

I'm surprised! I was expecting them to complain about their foot-space under your seat.

Default I posted on this a while ago...

If it helps, I'm 6'3", and I always move the driver's seat all the way back in any vehicle in which I sit.

I haven't tested the S4 yet, but I took a seat in the A4 sedan for comparison. When I turned around, I saw that there was about maybe 6" of leg room in the back. Very inhospitable environment. Someone posted about 8 year olds being comfy; I would expect that's about the only demographic that might find it acceptable to sit in the back if the two people in front are tall.

I like the S4 on paper, and it sounds like an amazing ride, but I really wonder if I'd be happy giving up my allroad, aka "the People Mover," for a much smaller but faster ride. Of course, as a friend of mine who once had an M3 quipped, you don't buy a car like an M3 or an S4 for the people in the back. Any insights?

Default I have never had a problem in my B5 A4...

I am 6' and often transport clients without any problems. Maybe you have your seat back to far?

Possibly, and I admit it's become something of a habit to push the seat all the way back in any vehicle I drive. Still, I felt pretty comfortable with the seat all the way back in the A4. I don't imagine that it would be better for me with the seat forward any.
