Default A little "me too" from Mercedes?

Dumping the kompressor and dropping a big V8 in the C-class...

Interesting, but it's no S4.<ul><li><a href="http://www.autoweek.com/cat_content.mv?port_code=autoweek&amp;cat_code=rev iews&amp;loc_code=index&amp;content_code=08879875" >2005 C55 AMG</a></li></ul>

Default Hey, bring it on. I'm feeling feisty today.....

Why they offer no manual trans is beyond me. Why not give your customers the choice? I applaud them, though, for putting that monster of an engine in that car.

Default Well...

With 20+ more HP, 70+(!) lb.ft. more torque, and 200lb less to haul, I'd guess it would obliterate S4 in the straight line...

However, it's only offered with a slushbox, and the redline is relatively low (5700 RPM) compared to S4, so it might not be THAT much faster after all.

Default isn't the s4 just a throwback to the American muscle cars of the 60s?

"small car" "big engine"

hmm, sounds like a 1964 Pontiac GTO

Default No, it's a genuine German muscle car!

And it handles like one, too!

Default In reality, I doubt they would make it slower than the one it replaces...

Isn't C32 faster than the current S4?
