Looking for chip advice - GIAC, REVO, or APR? (crossed in B7S4)

APR's can be detected by a dealer who knows how to switch the programs. Thats the nice part about needing something else to switch, much harder to detect.

I remember kevin (fluffhead) was telling me if you do something on the stalk when its locked out something flashes or something blinks once. I don't remember.... this was a while ago and it might have changed but I remember him saying its not 100% undetectable.

That is the reason APR takes these steps so dealers dont notice them. When in lockout mode there are NO blinks, NO lights, no nothing UNTIL the correct 4 number code is entered. Only then do you get a confirmation blink. In addition, my Audi dealership is an APR distributor and we took my car to interrogate it to look for sings of a chip and all advanced ID and loggin functions remainend intact as OEM would see it. Sometimes rumors are started but I can confirm there is no such evidence the car is chipped. cheers! Mike
