Default the only problem with that is...

APR's can be detected by a dealer who knows how to switch the programs. Thats the nice part about needing something else to switch, much harder to detect.

The only thing you'll notice is the "lag" gets fixed. $600 for that? Worth it? your call.

You can lock out the APR and the dealer cannot switch it. Takes only 1 second to do.

Default There is still a way to tell...

I remember kevin (fluffhead) was telling me if you do something on the stalk when its locked out something flashes or something blinks once. I don't remember.... this was a while ago and it might have changed but I remember him saying its not 100% undetectable.

Default Yea but, if you do this, the problems are fixed and it's only $29.95/L + shipping.

Default Absolutely not. I have had over 6 flashes of these programs and there is definitely not...

That is the reason APR takes these steps so dealers dont notice them. When in lockout mode there are NO blinks, NO lights, no nothing UNTIL the correct 4 number code is entered. Only then do you get a confirmation blink. In addition, my Audi dealership is an APR distributor and we took my car to interrogate it to look for sings of a chip and all advanced ID and loggin functions remainend intact as OEM would see it. Sometimes rumors are started but I can confirm there is no such evidence the car is chipped. cheers! Mike
