How about a Avant in a performance shot? At VIR

My S4 HAS and CAN beat M3's. and a 13.2 WILL beat 98% of M3 drivers anyday
a stock m3 is running mid to high 13's with anyone but a fantastic driver. low 13's with an absolute pro and with ideal conditions. 12.9 with mods and stripped and with slicks, etc. They are really not very fast cars. Neither are most B5 S4's unless you dump a bunch of money into them and you have ideal conditions (i hated the wheezing of the engine once it got heated up and the turbos were breathing less than cold air)

Heres some facts for you
M3's run anywhere from 12.8's-13.5's
B6 S4 runs from 13.2-13.9 area. There are many STOCK M3's in the 13.0-13.3 range. Theres only ONE S4 in that league.
My brother himself ran a 12.9 in his M3 with just an exhaust.(not even full exhaust, just axle back)

Say Bergx7, is your car stock?
And what's your best time & trap speed? YOu realise that according to 100% of mag tests around thw world the M3 is significantly faster, especially in trap speed. They trap 107-108 stock. SO the longer the race goes the more chance you will get 'walked'. If you beat an M3, chnaces are you beat the driver.
