I've bought this paint matched pen/marker I think recommended by Avram, but I haven't gotten around to use it just yet. Would be perfect for the little chips because you just "dab" the marker on the spot rather than having to paint it with a brush.

then just go get a new front bumper put on and repaint the fenders. Its about the same cost as a clear bra, and I personally cannot stand the look of a clear bra and how the seems are visible.

My new S4 (lease) comes in within a few weeks. I usually have a bra on my cars (current 01 S4) but what a drag and they still scratch. So I'm going to get a clear bra ASAP. Wondering about doing JUST the hood or if you folks think it's worth the significant cost increase to do the bumper as well (which I believe is plastic where the hood is paint of course). Since I've been pretty **** about having a leather bra on my silver S4, the amount of chips is about nill (I do take it off when it rains or after a car wash so I can't say it's 100% chip free but pretty close).
I suspect the answers will be to clear bra both. Just not sure if the plastic is any better at avoiding chips and if at lease end I don't protect, what the dealer might ping me for if there are some chips there.

Did the whole front bumper, hood, front edges of fenders,& had a piece made for the top edge running next to the metal strip & wraping several "'s over the curve of the rear bumper thus protecting the top .This product does work.If you repaint will have to wait for install of clear bra because pait will need to cure.
