I have been looking at putting together an exhaust system for my s4 and I really like the Magnaflow deep rumble. Searching the Magnaflow site does not return much for the 2004 S4 (specifically if you are looking for parts rather than a whole system). The ones I see most often mentioned by other users are Magnaflow 14851 mufflers for this vehicle, however the description on the Magnaflow site lists them as part of the Race Series "designed for the ultimate in high performance and an aggressive racecar sound". That worries me since a raspy uncorked "racecar" sound is not what I want. So the question is has anyone purchased parts from Magnaflow and what Muffler part number fit the 2004 S4? Also, how did it turn out sound wise?

Raspy is what you will get with Magnaflow. Here is my setup with an H-Pipe. 14851 are usually the mufflers of choice when people go with Magnaflows.

Wow, that sounds vicious
The S4 video on the Magnaflow site obviously highlights the whole catback system they sell (or did sell at one point) and it doesn't visually appear to be the same mufflers as the 14851. http://www.magnaflow.com/04sound/eur...S4/audiS4.html. Maybe I can get some info from the company on what part those are.

Love the Avant BTW. Amazing!
