Maximum Acceleration

Does anybody know the optimal shift points (rpms) for a stock '05 S4 for best 0-60mph times? Is it simply at peak hp (7000 rpm)?

car stops making power at about 6800 but the car edlines

at 7250. So i guess I dont know.

Shift out of first at 7250. You will hit 60mph in 2nd gear.

Even though the power plateaus slightly before 7k, you want to grab second gear with as many revs as possible.

What about the other gears. Any thoughts on best rpm to shift in each gear for optimal acceleration?
