Default It's noticeably deeper and more resonated down low.

Resonance = vibration. You can feel it through the seats and hear it as well. DP's with non-res would be too much for my personal taste, but maybe not for you or somebody else.

I have a g/f that is very picky about the sound. And I have a dog that is too, especially since he sits on the rear seats, RIGHT where the resonators are. He likes the fact that I've got the Res vs. the non-res. :-D

But my g/f hated my twin2 exhaust on my old B5. She loves the new one, even with the dp's. I think the non-res would be too much for her to bear with.

It's all about personal taste, but if your asking me, go for the resonated.

thanks, not that it matters too much, whenever I get on it with her in the car she freaks anyway
