Default MILLTEK used*

Is it worth buying a used Milltek cat back exhaust? I have an "04 S4 that I bought a year ago and i think its time to exercise the demons. I would appreciate any incite.
1. $1400 new. What would you pay? <500 miles
2. Resonated? Yes please.
3.Milltek? My service manager seems to think so.

Default I would pay no more than $700 for it

prefer non-res, but res would work too.

Default I bought DPs and resonated catback used and love it. Are you trying to improve sound or performance?

If you want more sound and not too worried about performance increase, go unres. Milltek res sounds better than stock, but by much and you'll soon crave more sound. If you're looking for performance increase and sound, go down pipes and resonated. If you want volume, go unres. You can listen to clips on-line, but they truly do exhaust no justice. Listen to different setups in person if at all possible.
Hope this helps...Steve

Default Thats exactly what I did.

I bought a used resonated Milltek. I think I paid about $650, but it had more miles on it.

I did have to get a new tip, as one of the welds failed on one, but other than that all went well.

Non-res "yes please"! You'll wish you got the non-res.

I thought there was no differance for performance b/w res and non res. Of course with a full system I get more power, but i need more money

Yeah no power difference between res/nonres. I just worded it funny.
