Glad to hear the rocker panel repair and paint job finally turned out good and that you have your car back.
I recently had to use my jack as I had a screw in my driver front tire. I had only used the dinky jack on my daughter's '00 A4 once so I could not remember exactly how bad these jacks are. I guess I was lucky since it was one of the fronts because after just a couple of "dry-runs" cranking it up I found the right spot where it let the lip lock into the jack without much abrasion to the lip. Anyway these cars being almost 2 tons and the jack being too dinky is a prescription for trouble in my opinion. BTW, this is the second flat I've had in less than 2000 miles. With the first and the follow-up on this last one (where the tire shop fixed the punctured one I'd taken off & put it back on the car) the tire tech could not really find a good place to put his hydralic floor jack. I stood there making certain both guys knew I did not want a marred rocker panel...or, for that matter, a marred underside.
Perhaps an inane question...but, you say the Audi dealer mounted your tires on your new rims. I thought that if we put aftermarket rims on the car that Audi would not cover any suspension related issues. Is this true? A guy at one of the performance mod Audi specialty shops sold my daughter his 01 S4 rims/tires for her '00 A4 and a couple of months later he called and said he had to take in his S4 to a dealer in Georgia for supsension creeking and that dealer said sorry warranty is voided because you put different wheels on...he called my daughter traded out wheels and took it to an Alabama dealer who then fixed the issues under warranty? So this is why I was wondering if wheels actually void a warranty on the suspension or whatever?
Finally, I do not understand are you saying Audi will, or did, pay for the paint repairs due to the known problems with the jack?

Audi didn't pay for anything. I had a situation where the
dealer had damaged my wheels and replaced them which is the only reason they mounted them.
I had to pay for all other repairs.

I think I am going with the Stasis Street Sport if it ever comes out. . .
last I heard from Ryan@Stasis was about 60 days before they release the street sport. That was about 2 weeks ago so we are still looking at a month and a half before suspension. . .

They are really not that hard to keep clean. . .it's all about coming up with a method. . .
I find that a wool mitt works great for cleaning wheels. Then I blow off alot of the excess water with my leaf blower and finish drying them with a soft cloth to avoid any scratching of the lips!
I think it's worth it!
