You should try to get a new car. A car that new being in an accident like that should be replaced. But that's up to the insurance. Good luck on that & get well soon!

nM is a unit of torque, not force. Airbag deployment is based on acceleration. It is likely that the accident happened in such a way that the sideways acceleration didn't reach the level necessary to trigger the bags.

...1984 to 1989 in the Barron Park area. Tough to find a better place to live. But the cost of housing. OMG. My best pal lives in a total (rented) shack 1/4 mile from 101. Complete beater houses in his neighborhood: $700,000. We're talking teardowns here. Anyway. That was pretty traumatic, but I climbed out with not one single scratch. I had a bit of a sore neck though. Use care on Lytton in the evening. People have a hard time seeing the traffic control signals for all those big trees when entering from the neighborhoods. It's easy to blow through an intersection there if you're not familiar with the situation.

Sorry about your car! Glad you are ok, too! Can you see by looking at the car how the side skirts are attached? I'm thinking of taking mine off-- don't like the look-- and want to know what's involved.
Thanks!
Thanks!
