Default moving from the s4 to the rs6

Any thoughts guys?

I sold my B6 S4 about a year ago and have been waiting to buy something fun once again. i am in the process of starting a family and was thinking of getting a used rs6. i can't believe i can get one under 30k. i know that there are several problems with these cars, though most of the problems depend on how you drive them. i like to go fast, but will not kill the car.

i'm just looking for something a little larger and faster...

make sure you factor in maintenance...RS6 upkeep is supposed to be killer.

Default If you can do your own maintenance you're good to go.

ditch the DRC go with stasis coilovers. The timing belt has very short cycles.

Default Under 30K for an RS6?

I wouldn't touch it unless I had pockets full of thousand dollar bills

Default A lot of that has to do with the DRC. I'd immediately swap it out for an

aftermarket setup. There are obviously more issues with the RS6 than that, but that's the one that seems to pop up more than once (sometimes within a few thousand miles of having it repaired.)
