Read inside.
After reading your post, I smiled. Now, being numb and swollen I look retarded.
So not only did I get clowned by you just now, your post transcended the audi bulletin board and got me made fun of by my family.

throttle lag is what i meant to say
the 1.8T also uses drive by wire, but because of the "hair dryer" (j/k) it would feel more reactive to any throttle modulation, even while it was only making 1-2psi...
i personally feel that audi put that lag there to keep the car 'civilized'. it seems that the overwhelming majority of the forum members dislike this, as i did. =)
I love your sig.... It seems that i am always at the pump with the S4. With the Revo, the milage has improved, but since i've got a lead foot i still seem to always have an empty wallet. ;-)

Big Mazel!
The Beastie Boys had the recent cover/interview in Heeb magazine (yes this is for real). One of them (sorry, forgot which one) said "big mazel" to congratulate the interviewer on something. He replied, 'I think you mean mazel tov.' No, the beastie replied, 'Big mazel is more hip hop.'
just thought that would be fun, possibly for Zev at least. we can still have fun while discussing chips, right?

Your commentary TO Sheethead about "Audi keeping the car civilized" is ironic.
Sheethead is the guy I was telling you about who disabled the clutch sensor and added his own relay with an on off switch to produce WOT and closed throttle with immediate effect at the touch of the pedal. His car was RAW.
As soon as you'd floor it, you'd fall back into the seat and as soon as you let go off the accelerator you'd smack your forehead against the wheel.
I think this is a lot clearer rather than me trying to "speak" over dyno noise.
