Default Re: Twisties? But the CTS-V is RWD. That is the ultimate trump card for handling.

um then why do they make a carrera 4? awd is better. i took the audi through some curves at 100 that i could only get to 85-90 in my v... and my v had sways and coil overs...

Default Re: Didn't say you have the wrong car, I have one too, and I could have gotten a CTS-V

i spent two years in the seat of the v... you couldnt be more wrong about the handling... It is good no doubt, but i know the s4 is better in the corners... sticks better and with mods would kill a modded v.

Default Well, someday maybe you two can show me how to drive a nose heavy

understeering car faster than a balanced rear-drive car with more power. I've driven rear-drive cars my whole life, but I obviously really don't have a clue what I'm doing. Or, maybe I just need to drink the Koolaid.

Default Congrats on the S4! I test drove the new CTS a few weeks ago, even though I was set on the S4

that I bought. I agree that even though they got better, things are still subpar to our cars. Although, I do like the commercial for the CTS with that chick from Grey's Anatomy or whatever show

As far as the mods for power, I have been checking into it myself. Seems like a good DP/Exhaust set up will net you ~20@ the wheels and bring you to ~365 @ the crank. Other than that, nothing big for improvements that I have seen yet.

Default Don't listen to that guy below :-)

APR makes a nice exhaust. I have one on mine, and it imparts a really nice, deep rumble, especially when you come off the gas in 6th at about 70. It'll burble as the rpm's come down when you coast, and makes you save a little gas in teh process! haha.

There was a post a few weeks ago about some dudes trying to make a kit to equip the B6 w/ twin turbos. It sounded a little sketch, but I'll include the link to the forum post. Check it out.

As for the pics, you can upload them to the picture poster and then include them in your post. Picture Poster is at the bottom of the forum, do a search for step by step directions.

2 snails post

Default I was being sarcastic at the notion that RWD is the only factor that determines good handling

and that RWD can make up for any other poor-handling characteristic a car has.

I agree with you.

No way. Maybe you had the rare FWD or AWD version of the CTS-V.
