The current NAV+ system that is CD based that you can put in your car if you get the unit from overseas will fit. This unit is pretty much end of life.
The next version which is DVD based, that some have seen (pictures I think in A3). This unit was a totally new design and not much is known about it at this point. Will whatever they offer in the future models fit in place of the current head unit??? I don't know, that is a good question. I think the answer is pure speculation.

with larger screen runs on dvds, the a8 dvds will work however the FM band only gets frequencies 76-90 making it practically useless unless u use another source for FM. also the Jap unit has a screen the slides to reveal a MD and Cd player behind the face.
