Default Neuspeed Short Shifter

Anybody has expirienced Neuspeed SS kit for S4?
any difference. They claim 35% reduction, but this kit also suits all A4 line. As long as I remember S4 has some kind of Audi SS from the factory.Thanx in advance

Default Not sure on the factory SS, i am currently testing the SS from AMS.

It shortens the throw by 20-40%(adjustable). The shifts are much shorter than stock and more solid feeling(no more shifter wobble while in gear). But they do need to get the ergonomics a bit of a tweak. It seems that the S4 tranny has a slight offset in the gear throws compared to the A4. So when you shift from 1-5 to 2-6 all have a slight down and to the left pull. So once AMS gets the ergonomics set they will release the new S4 SS.

Default I have a Neuspeed SS.

The S4 SS is diffrent then the A4 SS. I am happy with mine. Smooth throw and shortned height. I've had it for 3 weeks now...

I have the AMS SSK on my car (A4), and I like it better than my NS SSK which was on my 2002 car.

Default I've felt it in a B6 A4, and it is the shortest, most precise shifter I've ever felt. It is a 35%

reduction, but the shifter rod itself is also 1/2" shorter, which really makes the throw short...I would say those 2 attributes make it more than a 50% reduction...it is a very nice shifter.

Default The NS S4/ss was designed on my car. But i really like the AMS ss more, so far. Adjustable height

and throw and a more solid feel over all. They are going to redesign the ergonomics this week. So hopefully they will be released within the next 2 weeks.
