New appreciation for our cars

I just got my 2004 S4 back a few hours ago after it was involved in an accident. The back driver's side of the car was smashed in and it took almost 2 months to get it back. First its looks as good as new, they repainted the car and all the old blemishes are obviously gone as well. I was going crazy for the 2 months as I was given a Ford 500 as a loaner. Now I don't want to bash the Ford but man I almost forgot how much fun driving can be. I just did a quick 10k drive back to the office and everyone was asking what was up as I had a huge smile on my face. Feels good to be back.
That is all...

and I'm only driving it on weekends. I don't mind. My DD is a V6 4Mo Passat, lowered w/ 18s. Still, it's not a B6 S4.
Take a drive whenever you can, even if it's for no reason other than just to get outta the house.

I have only driven my S4 about a month a year for the past years. All of my time is spent in Iraq, I love driving my S4 when I come home on leave though.
All smiles.
