With a 4.5 litre V8 and 300+ BHP, four doors, etc. it seems to go head-to-head with the S4 at comparable prices.

if it is the m45 thats more like a a8 competitor, tho they are fast on the highway

nah a m45 is much more like an a8, 7series, and s-classs the thing is huge

Default yeah maybe true.. Priced in the mid-50s and seems like a serious threat

Default direct competitor as in sales? or performance? or both?
if they take away our sales, good, maybe the prices will go down

performance, s4 is a true sports sedan, I would choose it over it no doubt, unless it's super faster which it isn't
