Yeah they did 5W-30 this time. I'm not even sure if it meets the 502 spec.

FYI, CarQuest has an excellent selection of syn oils for our engine.

Default Which quaker state?

If it's their new synthetic, it's good stuff. Quaker State Q Euro is the same oil as Pennzoil Platinum Euro, is the same oil as Shell Helix Ultra. They all be owned by Shell.

Default Couldn't tell you...that's part of the issue.

I think every oil change the past year has been different part #'s on my invoices. One invoice was listed as dino oil and I asked them to correct the situation and they told me it was filled with synth (castrol 5w-40) and it was invoiced wrong.

I'm not sure I believe them. The SA sucks and I asked him this time if it was Castrol like we had put in before. This was before I left with the car on Monday. Later I found out the dealer switched to QS and the SA lied to me.

Default Time for a letter of complaint

State what happened, what you were 1st told and then what you later learned. Ask them to specifically certify that the oil used meets Audi quality standard 502.00, and to show documentation that this oil was used. State that if they cannot provide adequate documentation, including delivery receipts for the bulk oil used, and internal consumables tracking numbers, that you require them to provide an additional oil change with the correct fluids at their expense. Given them an "out" with a statement like:

It is understandable that mistakes and mis marking of service reports can happen in the course of business. I'm sure that for your own confidence in the work performed that you will do whatever is necessary.

Copy the service manager, the general manager, and AoA in Auburn Hills on it. If you have a personal or business lawyer, copy them also. Deliver it by registered mail with signature tracking.
