Default No loaner program at Audi of Tysons?

I just brought my S4 in for 15k mile service at Audi of Tysons and drove the rest of the way to work in a PoS Chevy Cobalt. I was irritated after waiting 30-40 minutes to get the PoS car but they were busy and I assumed that they were out of "real" loaner cars. When they called and asked to keep my lovely S4 overnight, I told them that I will be out of town until Friday and I can't keep the rental car for that period of time. Not to mention that the idea of tooling around in that crappy rental for the rest of the week made me feel slightly ill. I asked if they would let me bring the rental car back and exchange it for a loaner car that I can keep until I return, and the response was "we don't have a loaner program." I asked a few more questions and the bottom line is that with the possible exception of a few sales manager owned cars, they don't have a loaner program.

Am I being fed a line of crap or is that true? Can anyone confirm this? No wonder people say to avoide Audi of Tysons like the plague, but it's just too convenient for me (less than 2 miles from my office).

This will be cross-posted in the Mid-Atlantic forum as well.

Default What they told you is true...

They have an Enterprise rental attached to the service building and that's what you will get.

Their lack of a loner program is one of many reasons to stay away from HBL. I purchased my '06 S4 from them in August of 06 and it hasn't darkened their door since then. I won't even drop my car off there for oil changes. I pay for oil changes out of my own pocket at a private place, rather than run the risk of having HBL screw up my car.

Default Same w/ my dealer...I complained until the sales manager loaned me

his A6. Its just not right to pay 50+ for a car and drive away in a Econo turd. They now either put me in a sales manager car or a loaner SUV. Just make sure you remind them of the superior business model of Lexus and MB....and how they continue to up-sale customers by placing them in new models every time they drop off for service. Audi dealers need to step up their game.
